Tech & money protection for your parents

Everyone deserves a nephew in tech.

Nephew is your parents' first call — for the printer, the passwords, the bank app, and the scam call at dinner. A real person. Who picks up.

Built by the family tech kid your aunts already call.

That's why we exist. But most days, it's the printer.

The problem

Your parents don't call the bank. They call you.

You're at work. Mom's locked out of her account, there's a "Microsoft agent" on her screen, and the printer's been broken since March. You can't be the help desk forever.

  • We lock down their accounts before scammers find them
  • We answer the small stuff — printers, portals, passwords, the TV
  • We pick up when the scam call comes — because it will
  • We keep you in the loop with a plain-English family report
What we actually help with

Everything, honestly. Most of it isn't scary.

The emergencies are why families sign up. The everyday is what they use us for.

Everyday tech

The stuff they call you about

No question is too small. Ask us twice, ask us ten times.

  • Phones, tablets, laptops — setup, updates, "it's acting funny"
  • Printers that won't print and Wi-Fi that keeps dropping
  • TV, streaming logins, and the four remotes
  • Email, photos, storage that's always full
  • Doctor portals, pharmacy refills, insurance logins
  • New devices, transfers, and getting rid of the old one safely
  • Getting started with AI — set up, shown, and made useful

Money & safety

The stuff they shouldn't face alone

Where a decade in banking actually matters.

  • Scam calls, texts, and "your account has been compromised"
  • Locked out of banking, email, or an Apple/Google account
  • Credit freezes, bank alerts, and trusted contacts
  • Passwords that aren't on a sticky note anymore
  • Suspicious charges and what to do in the first hour
  • Untangling accounts after a spouse passes
Who answers

Not a call center. Tech experts trained where it counts: banking.

Every Nephew is a tech expert with real grounding in financial services, modern websites, and the applications your parents actually use — vetted, insured, background-checked, and trained to work at your parents' pace, in your parents' words.

Nephew was founded by Luke Caputo, who spent a decade inside America's largest financial institutions helping launch and build digital banks. He knows exactly how bank security works, and exactly how it fails. He's been his own family's first call for years. He built Nephew so every family gets one.

For the member

"It's just my computer guy."

That's what your parents will call us, and that's fine by us. One number. One familiar voice. Patient, unhurried help — and printed instructions in type they can actually read.

Questions

The things families ask first.

Do you ever handle my parents' money?

Never. We instruct and supervise while your parents (or you) do the clicking. We don't take custody of funds, we don't hold banking credentials, and every engagement runs under a written service agreement. That line is the foundation of the whole company.

My parent isn't "tech-savvy" at all. Is that a problem?

That's the entire point. We work at their pace, in their words, over the phone and by screen-share. No jargon, no sighing, and written follow-up instructions after every session so nothing gets forgotten.

What happens when a scam call actually comes?

Your parent hangs up and calls the number on their wallet card. We verify what's real, freeze what needs freezing, get the bank's fraud team on the line together, and file the federal report the same day. Then we call you and explain everything in plain English.

Can't AI or the bank's chatbot do this?

Your parents will not describe a phishing screen to a chatbot at 7pm on a Sunday. They will call a person they trust — that's the whole reason scams work, and the whole reason we do. A familiar human who picks up is the product.

Is this only for someone's parents?

Not at all. Plenty of members sign themselves up — usually the sharpest ones. Same plans, same number, and we'll send the family report to whoever you choose, or no one.

Where do you operate?

Everywhere. Every session runs by phone and screen-share, and every appointment is booked online — including Fortress Days. Your parents need a phone and an internet connection, nothing else.
